Tiggo- Mobile Onboarding
Tiggo’s onboarding was designed to feel clear, personal, and purposeful. Instead of overwhelming users with jargon, the flow welcomed them, captured their expertise and interests, and tailored the very first homepage experience. The goal: make users feel understood and guide them to meaningful actions like discovering projects, validating parcels, or collaborating with partners.

First-time users felt confused by complex terms like “RFP” and “Apply to Projects.”
Competitive platforms skipped context, causing early drop-offs.
Users weren’t sure of Tiggo’s value within the first 30 seconds.
Solution
Built a 3-step swipeable onboarding with minimal text, visuals, and skip options.
Framed value around 3 moments: Discover, Validate, Build Together.
Designed illustrations and headlines to make abstract civic-tech concepts easy to grasp.
Iterated through A/B testing to balance clarity and speed.
Results
Reduced confusion for first-time users.
Boosted engagement with the parcel-marking feature.
Positioned Tiggo as an approachable, data-backed platform.
